Okay, I have been slacking hardcore on blogging but I am determined to get back into it! What better place to start than with this mountaintop engagement session!
Bri reached out to me a few months ago, asking if I would be interested in taking engagement photos. I had recently scoped out Mount Agamenticus in Maine and knew I just HAD to shoot there at some point, so I asked her if they would be up for a more adventurous location. After telling me they were in, I suggested Mt. Aggie (as the locals call it), and she told me that’s where they got engaged! At that point, it was basically fate and we knew that’s where we had to have their session.
Guys, if I could paint you a picture of my ideal couple to work with, they were it. They were so laid back, didn’t take themselves too seriously, and had fun with it! To top things off, we had the most killer sunset.
Funny story – As we were walking to start the session, Ang told me the story of how he proposed. He had planned to do it in the off season, and there are two ways to drive to the top of the mountain. He had friends planning to meet them at the top, and when they got to the road that led to the top of the mountain, he realized it was closed in the off season so they had to turn around and go an entirely different route and he had to let his friends know they would be 45 minutes behind schedule. But hey, everything worked out because they are now engaged, have a pretty funny story to tell, and have some awesome photos to document their engagement
Alright, alright – I’ll stop talking and let you get to the good stuff.
