Romantic Glen Manor House Wedding in Rhode Island | Alex & Emma

Hi Friends!! We’re back with the first wedding of 2025!!! Some weddings just have a magical feel to them—and Alex and Emma’s celebration at the Glen Manor House had that kind of energy from start to finish. 

They met on Hinge (Always here for a good dating app story) and now live in Cambridge, but chose Rhode Island for the big day. We started the morning off in Newport at the Hotel Viking, where Emma, Alex and their crew got ready while the rain came down hard outside (It was the kind of rain that makes you start mentally sketching backup photo plans, and I would be lying if I said I wasn’t white knuckling it the entire drive to Rhode Island 😅). But just in time, the rain stopped—giving us the perfect window to get outside and take full advantage of Glen Manor’s stunning grounds.

Emma and Alex did their first look on the grand staircase inside the manor, and from there, the rest of the day was full of personal touches—an oyster bar during cocktail hour (yes, please), a dance floor that never emptied, and one of my favorite surprises of all time: during the reception, Emma arranged for Alex to hop into the DJ booth. Turns out, he used to DJ in college and it was the best surprise. 

Alex and Emma’s wedding was the perfect way to kick off my 2025 season, and it has me so excited for all the celebrations ahead.
