Tyler and Vivian’s White Mountains elopement was one for the books! We started the day at the cutest Airbnb in the woods, followed by their first look at Cathedral Ledge. After that, we joined their closest family and friends at the top of Foss Mountain while they exchanged their vows just before sunset.

Planning a wedding (or an elopement!) can be stressful enough as it is, and who wants to have to worry about finding the perfect place for your engagement photos?! You’re in luck! I’ve compiled a list of my favorite locations to shoot at in Utah, complete with insider tips and information about each location. Without further ado, here they are!

We had scheduled the session for Saturday, but with rain in the forecast, I asked if they would be available to shoot on Sunday. We ended up changing the session to Sunday at the last minute (shoutout to all my clients for being so flexible ) and i’m SO glad we did! We had the most beautiful, sun soaked (and WINDY) session….and it was perfect.

Fast forward six months (and a pandemic) later, and I had the pleasure of capturing their special day. We escaped the heat and humidity that seems to have been a constant this summer, and the sun decided to make an appearance right the middle of their vows – talk about perfect.

Bri reached out to me a few months ago, asking if I would be interested in taking engagement photos. I had recently scoped out Mount Agamenticus in Maine and knew I just HAD to shoot there at some point, so I asked her if they would be up for a more adventurous location. After telling me they were in, I suggested Mt. Aggie (as the locals call it), and she told me that’s where they got engaged! At that point, it was basically fate and we knew that’s where we had to have their session.

Now that the holidays are winding down and we’re headed into the new year, I wanted to wrap up the second part of this post from a few weeks back! First things first, if you haven’t read Part 1, take a moment to read that before jumping into this one.
